Your Opportunity
One Temporary (Up to 12 Months) Full Time Position.
We are currently seeking an innovative and results-oriented individual to join our Merchant Reporting team!
Reporting to the Manager, Merchant Reporting, as the AP/AR Administrator you will be responsible for processing and reconciling invoices and ensuring accurate and timely payments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage both AP and AR processes efficiently.
You will contribute to our team by
- Processing and reconciling invoices, while ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Verifying and matching invoices with commodity trade delivery and receipts.
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
- Assisting in month-end closing activities as required.
What you will bring to the role
Education
- Completion of an undergraduate degree or post-secondary diploma.
- Education equivalency may be considered.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience providing administrative and AP/AR support in a fast-paced organization.
- Experience with Oracle financial software is an asset.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Working knowledge of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.
- Demonstration of high accuracy and efficiency.
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid Office/Work from home position, with possible very minimal travel to meet business users at Capital Power facilities or other offices.
Additional Details
Hours of Work: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
Union: CSU52 (A2)
Salary Range: $29.47 to $35.13
